Introducing SPIN Labs

SPIN is delighted to introduce SPIN Labs, our new, creative, research-led, social justice-oriented hub for generating new creative ways to think about the politics of knowledge un-making.

We understand that many of our greatest global challenges today stem from knowledge inequalities not only in terms of access to information and education, but in terms of how knowledge is made and limited, what counts as knowledge, and how scepticism slides into cynicism. Drawing on the work of researchers based at SPIN as well as a wider global network of experts, we’re interested in working with creative teams to find new ways to inspire curiosity and creative approaches to address these challenges whether they centre issues relating to secrecy, ignorance, conspiracy theories, mis/disinformation, and general un-knowing.
